EDIT: Last night was the most difficult night I've had in a long time. Mazie has the stomach flu and Freya was up all night crying (also sick?) I'm exhausted.
I hope this day goes by quickly.

Sometimes the weekends are very lonely for me. It's not that I crave more social interaction with people in general ... it's that I miss Nate. I barely see him throughout the week while he's in school and busy with his Practicum, but the weekends are even worse because he is at work.
The day in, day out does make me weary at times. Our house is ran in a (mostly) organized fashion and everyone knows what the expectations are so that makes it easier. But, still ... an infant and a toddler (that is discovering the world of independence and sassy talk) consumes much of my time and if I had Nate it would just be so much easier and more fun. Plus, he's so cute.
It'll end. In the meantime I just need to suck it up (cupcake), keep things in perspective and be thankful.
